Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:
•Cultivate strong business partnerships with the Plant Controller
•Improving financial performance across operational areas, including material spend, Track and monitor local saving projects for the site/business unit
•Assist with monthly plant/business unit review; Maintain standard monthly reporting on operations finance topics (PPV, scrap, PFO, inventory, etc.)
•Analyze monthly actual results and assist in forecasting and budgeting
•Ensure we maintain a strong culture of compliance specific to SOX and Policy 
•Analyzing financial data and providing insights to support the decision-making process of the value stream and plant
•Forecasting, budgeting, and reporting on financial performance as well as identifying trends and opportunities for PPV, scrap, PFO, etc.
•Analyzing and optimizing material flows within the value stream - working closely with the plant controlling team to ensure that materials are being used efficiently 
•Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators related to material usage, such as inventory turnover and scrap rates
•Support ad hoc requests from management or business partners

Background:
•Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing Costing, FP&A
•Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite programs. SAP experience is a plus.
•Be an effective business partner provides financial guidance to support business decision.
•Strong analytical skills to build up solid financial analysis module, strong business acumen to justify assumptions to support financial analysis
•Ability to reach across functional and regional boundaries to create a network of contacts to resolve issues
•Practical hands-on approach, and self-motivated
•Continuous improvement sprit always seeking for better solution rather than follow existing process
•Willing to take more responsibility, entrepreneur sprit
•Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
