Job Opening: Finance Development Program (FDP)
Company: TE Connectivity Location: Greater China (Shanghai/Suzhou/Shenzhen/Dongguan/Shunde)/APAC Region Target Candidates: Recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience Program Duration: 2 years (4 rotations, each lasting 6 months)
Program Highlights
Join TE Connectivity’s Finance Development Program (FDP) and kickstart your career in finance. This structured 2-year rotational program offers hands-on experience across multiple finance functions and prepares you for future Finance leadership roles within TE.
Rotation Areas (Each participant will rotate through several of the following functions)
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
•Support budgeting and strategic planning cycles
•Assist in monthly forecasting and operating expense analysis
•Prepare variance analysis and management reports
•Collaborate with HR on headcount and personnel cost reviews
Operations Finance
•Track plant performance and cost control
•Assist in budget and forecast preparation
•Manage fixed assets and capital investment reporting
•Develop tools to improve financial processes
Internal Audit
•Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits
•Evaluate internal controls and policy adherence
•Recommend improvements and follow up on corrective actions
Product Management Finance
•Review Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs) and financial logic
•Monitor project costs and margins
•Drive margin improvement for underperforming projects
Commercial Finance
•Analyze sales and profitability performance
•Support sales forecasting and incentive plans
•Monitor accounts receivable and customer credit terms
•Participate in S&OP and budgeting processes
What We’re Looking For
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields
•0–2 years of relevant work experience (internships count!)
•Strong English communication skills
•Experience in multinational companies or international exposure is a plus
•Willingness to travel or relocate within Asia
