Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Finance Teams are responsible for economic research, analysis of profit-and-loss income statements and preparation of reports on findings to make recommendations to management. They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of "what if" scenarios to help future business planning decisions.

What your background should look like:

Job Description  
•    Business Partner to GATD Asia management team, helping to develop and execute the business strategy in Asia region, develop KPI matrix and monitoring the performance meanwhile drive for improvement. Be part of decision-making process and coach Asia management team in financial impact of decisions. 
•    Support commercial decision, evaluate business risk, determining and execute contract terms
•    Be plant controller of shanghai GATD manufacturing site, plant metrics management includes Quality, productivity, delivery, Safety etc. 
•    Supervise closing process for costing & inventory and supply chain areas, identify possible issues and work with operational team to address those issues on a timely manner
•    Support localization project, footprint project and CER, validate the financial assumptions for new projects ROI analysis to support business decision
•    Monitor demand and supply fulfillment process and figure out any risks which may impact final delivery, evaluate inventory strategy, drive supply chain efficiency
•    Budgeting and strategic financial planning, monthly closing and forecast, ensure the consistency of the data reported and follow global & regional schedule (full P&L scope)
•    Internal control and drive TE policy & local regulations compliance in GATD Asia

•    Be an effective business partner provides financial guidance to support business decision. Strong analytical skills to build up solid financial analysis module, strong business acumen to justify assumptions to support financial analysis
•    Ability to reach across functional and regional boundaries to create a network of contacts to resolve issues 
•    Practical hands-on approach, and self-motivated
•    Continuous improvement sprit, always seek for better solution rather than follow existing process
•    Willing to take more responsibility, entrepreneur sprit
•    Excellent communication skills, effective verbal and written English communication skills
•    >8 years in finance function, full P&L controller experience is a plus
