Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.
What your background should look like:


The Demand Manager with his / her team are responsible to work with Sales, Customers and Products Managers to understand, anticipate, forecast customer needs for existing and new products.

The Demand Manager is in charge of implementing and running SOP demand reviews.

Organizational alignment/reporting line
This position reports to the Regional Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Tasks:
-    Develop demand forecasts based on demand patterns, business trends, information gathered working with Sales team, Product managers, Customers and Supply Chain teams

-    Responsible to run monthly demand reviews as part of the Sales and Operation Planning and propose improvements where required

-    Maintain demand plan to guarantee on time delivery to customer, mitigate inventory risk 

-    Recommend inventory strategy 

-    Support, train demand analyst 

-    Analyze demand related issues such as late deliveries to customer, obsolete stock and implement process to improve and avoid reoccurrence

-    Regularly audit current practices to challenge the teams, bring awareness to make sure that change and continuous improvement become mindset

-    Understand market Lead time requirements to better serve the customers and implement a pro active supply chain

Key Qualifications, Experiences and Knowledge:

- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Engineering
and previous experience in demand management 
- Data driven, analytical skills
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- On hand experience of material planning (production planning and vendor planning)
- Skilled in data management, Excel, ERP system, SAP
- Communication Skills 
- Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization through collaboration
- Exhibits, drives and communicates a clear understanding of desired results
- Has clear vision and demonstrates the ability to learn, develop and deploy new ideas
- Can motivate/influence others to change
