Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Logistics Demand Management Teams develop, integrate and provide short-term accounts or brand specific forecasts for internal operations which include replenishment data, customer data, sales promotion information, marketing plans and new distribution/product deletions. They are responsible for facilitating, managing and executing strategic directions related to plant performance, customer demand agreements, supply chain improvements, revenue forecasting and overall improvement in delivery metrics globally. They assist in the improvement of demand system forecasting accuracy for customers. The Demand Management Teams maintain and manage product history, forecasts and promotional demand. They analyze internal demand stream information, and categorizes according to demand patterns. They also may input sales/marketing intelligence for use in forecast systems, working with sales organization(s), national sales accounts, marketing, and related forecasting and planning groups.

Role Statement:
The Continuous Improvement Analyst S&OP Demand owns the global Demand Consensus Processes (Pre-Consensus Reviews, Demand Review) for her / his product family that provides the long term profit center and product ownership forecast of anticipated demands for strategic Sales & Operations Planning decisions.

Owns the monthly (pre-) demand consensus process to evaluate the anticipated unconstraint demand ('one set of numbers') within the Sales & Operations Planning Process
Coordinates the development and documentation of risks and opportunities assumptions supporting the demand plan.
Documents action items derived from the S&OP Demand Review and actively tracks the completion status with the action item owner
Owns the process to disaggregate high(er) level to granular and accurate units forecasts which will be used in the part supplying sources for rough cut capacity analysis and 
  bottleneck identification.
Proactively coordinates process with Product Management to achieve the agreed upon 18 months product forecast (derived from the 5 year product strategy)
Monitors new products pipeline conversion & drives activities with the responsible product and sales manager to improve accuracy.
Establish, maintain, and utilize forecasting and communications “tools” (IBP) for accomplishing the above.
Continuously drives improvement activities of the TEOA S&OP tools in his / her responsibility
Continuously drives improvement activities of the TEOA S&OP KPI's such as "Ship to Request", "Forecast Accuracy" and "Inventory Turns"
Actively supports strategic footprint decisions
Supports customer demand shaping or allocation processes in situations when supply is constrained in order to maximize customer service
Supports supply / demand balancing activities
