Job Overview

    • Responsible for managing forecast global GPL 733, 051, 152, and A01. Role is open to expanding further GPLs as products migrate to APAC region
    • Responsible for managing and monitoring finished goods inventory for GPL assignment and provide root cause analysis and solutions on excess finished good inventory
    • Create and manage analysis for inventory and forecast optimization for responsible GPLs
    • Manage, monitor, and adjust the demand plan using market intelligence gathering and statistical tools to influence forecast accuracy for responsible GPLs
    • Develop plans to help GPLs reach ideal inventory, forecast, and forecast accuracy measures by understanding how sales trends and shipment patterns will affect future demand and integrate into forecasts.
    • Execute and support monthly PFO process with all regions with global product managers and all regions in EMEA, NA, and APAC with planners for responsible GPLs
    • Understand the Sales and Operating Planning (S&OP) and how the process affects forecast accuracy
    • Communicate and manage abnormal demand events from the commercial side from the S&OP process to pass onto internal stake holders and supply chain
    • Quantify and clean abnormal demand from Xelus along with loading the forecast from JDA into Xelus
      • Collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data using statistical and probability analyses to establish a part number level forecast
      • Ensure accountability between commercial and internal supply chain team via metrics such as ship to request, finished goods inventory, material strategy codes, and forecast accuracy

What your background should look like:

    • Proficiency in Excel and an understanding of statistics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
    • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to cross functional stakeholders
    • Knowledge and business acumen of supply chain and how it affects manufacturing optimization processes and finance
    • Experience in MRP systems (i.e. SAP) and statistical forecasting tools (JDA, Xelus, IBP etc)
    • Experience in working on complex / adversarial problems with out of the box solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent (MBA a plus)
  • APICS and SIOP certification a plus
  • 3+ plus years experience in Supply Chain, S&OP and/or Demand Planning
  • Experience with analytical/forecasting systems and tools a plus (SAP, JDA, Xelus preferred, IBP)
