Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

What your background should look like:

Responsibilities:
•Develop Business Process Maps as needed for soft business supports with a focus on Product Management/Pricing. Facilitate business units to achieve/exceed desired service levels, lead time reduction and efficiency improvement objectives through the implementation of lean initiatives. Assist in prioritizing tasks. 
•Support, mentor and coach teams in the implementation of TEOA (TE Operating Advantages) tools and techniques to solve business problems. Deliver training to Product Management/Pricing staff on TEOA principles as necessary.
•Support value streams in the scoping of improvement opportunities.
•Develop standard work within the organization.
•Facilitating and leading Kaizen events, which might involve in cross-function, cross-BU and cross-region collaboration for optimal TE leverage.
•As needed work closely with Engineering/Operations supporting & sustaining Process Improvement Management (PIM).
•Work observation and analysis on day to day data gathering, studies and support with problem solving.
•Demonstrate a high level of expertise in commercial competencies such as (business acumen, communication, scorecard development and monitoring, global savvy, and project lifecycle management).

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
•Previous experience in Business Analytics, Process Improvement, Product or Manufacturing Management preferred.
•Confident in facilitation, motivational and influencing skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Strong self-direction & organizational skills.
•Good overall presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
•Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Capability to perform under a very fast paced industry.
•Ability to adapt to changing work priorities in response to a rapidly changing environment.
