We’re hiring a Business Development & Strategy Analyst/Manager for Auto Asia-Pacific team, reporting to Senior Director, Strategy Asia-Pacific. This role will closely work with the senior leadership team in the region as well as local management team in China, Japan, ASEAN and Korea. 

As part of the AP Strategy and BD team, the BD Analyst will support AP Strategy head and also AP general managers to develop the business strategy and also deeply involve in specific projects on the execution side.

What your background should look like:


Business Analyzing & Planning; Track monthly & quarterly Sales performance of each sub region at Asia-Pacific region (China, Korea, Japan and ASEAN) and prepare analysis & reports for managements’ business review, planning and decision making. Analyze historical business performance to understand key growth factors. 

Market Analysis & Report; Collect and monitor the monthly,  & quarterly & yearly Automotive Asia-Pacific market trends & government policies & customer news & macro economy and prepare analysis reports to support management business decision making. 

Business Development support: Collect historical business data, market information and sub region team plan to support management make business development plan and decide KPI targets; Coordinate with sub region sales & marketing team to regularly track progress and provide summary reports to managements.  

Business Management support: Consolidate sub region market and business information to support Asia Pacific managements prepare review meetings with global managements; Support Asia-Pacific managements to organize business review meetings with sub region teams. Coordinate with sub region teams to collect market/business information per management requirement. 

Support AP strategy head/Regional GM to continuously refine business strategies and priorities to help achieve growth, customer experience enhancement, and margin expansion goals  

Support the Corporate M&A team to develop M&A pipeline & execute in the region 


Min 3-5 years of full-time experience in the area ofin Strategic Planning, Sales & Marketing/ management consulting.   

Excellent skill in Excel, PowerPoint; Strong ability at quantitative and qualitative analytical & communication. Skills at Tableau or PowerBi a strong plus. 

Excellent strategic thinking and skill set required: work experience at Management consulting is highly preferred. 

Pro-active and fast speed of learning automotive business and product in detail required: background / experience in automotive industry / engineering preferred 

Strong business acumen & analytical skill to synthesize and summarize critical points quickly and clearly. Able to operate at both strategic and tactical level 

Strong communication with local team in China, Korea and Japan required:  Fluent English language speaking is required, Chinese/Japanese/Korean language is strong plus 

Frequent travel expected, especially within Asia-Pacific region
