BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER I

Job Overview

1. Job Summary 
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for developing and executing the comprehensive ICT sensor sales and business development strategy to grow a profitable ICT sensors business in the assigned key accounts in China. Further, this BDM will supervise the normal sales and business development activities for the assigned accounts, including having the direct customer contact and perform sales monitoring, forecasting, billing and invoicing, salesforce follow-up. Plus, furthermore, this BDM is in full charge to work closely with ICT BU team to develop the ICT sensor business by leveraging the internal and external resources. The BDM will directly report to ICT Sensor APAC Sales & BD Sensor Manager.

2. Responsibilities                             
1)    Develop and execute sensor growth strategy in the assigned key accounts to accelerate the profitable growth for ICT sensors.
2)    As a business partner, by working closely with ICT BU team, build up strong relationships with the assigned key accounts and be accepted as a competent partner, to ensure the “one-TE” voice to the assigned key accounts.
3)    Bring the VOC to the internal teams and feedback to the customers as a closed loop.
4)    As a key enabler, acquire the new projects.
5)    As a key stakeholder, work with Project Management team for the new and existing projects from demand creation to production:
-- Key interface between the TE team and the customer to ensure that both sides understand the requirements and have all needed information available
-- Coordination and early involvement of and on-time communication with all involved TE internal departments (ICT BU team, PM, engineering, PjM, CQE, etc.)
6)    Identification of new application or technology trends in the key accounts, working closely with FAE, PM or engineering team.
7)    Stand accountable for the regular sales operations in the assigned key accounts, including revenue monitoring, forecasting, AR management, etc.
8)    Ability to create ideas to generate an advantage for TE at the customer.
9)    Support customer, application and competitor analysis.
3. Requirement 
1)    BS Degree in Engineering, Sales & Marketing or above 
2)    At least 5 years’ working experience within Automotive and or ICT industry, and or sensor industry. Experience in sales would be a plus.
3)    Working experience in global Tier I supplier is preferred
4)    Working experience with sensor industry is a bonus
5)    Good sensor knowledge is a bonus
6)    Good communication & presentation skills
7)    Good English capability both in oral and writing
8)    Possess high sense of responsibility and integrity
