Agreement Pricing Analyst

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning.

TE Connectivity's Product Pricing Teams and Agreement Pricing Teams determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, marketplace, competitor data, economic conditions, volume, and quality of the product, as well as market positioning. 
Industrial Solutions is looking for an Agreement Pricing Analyst based out of our Shanghai, China.

Key responsibilities:
• Managing a portfolio of direct customer agreements and have deep understanding of the market
• Designing and implementing customer pricing strategy for portfolio
• Making strategic and tactical pricing recommendations for direct customer agreement design.
• Margin & Price analysis; competitive analytics; understand market dynamics
• Identification of business opportunities based on performance and profitability analysis
• Periodical reviews and renewals of direct customer agreements
• Analysis of Agreement & Customer portfolio
• Projects and initiatives in support of the Global Agreement Pricing mission
• Participation in Lean / Six Sigma / improvement projects to improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the pricing processes and the department. Leading to business growth and structural improvement of the customer experience.

What your background should look like:

Key experience/ skills:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics) with 4+ years of professional experience in pricing or equivalent type role
• MBA preferred
• Excellent analytical skills and capability
• Solid business acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to manage and coordinate many tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong PC capabilities (MS Office and Excel) required
• Statistical capabilities and commercial exposure a plus
