Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Digital Marketing & Social Media teams develop and manage all digital marketing campaigns, as well as digital properties to deliver a superior user experience, driving revenue potential and brand relevance by working with TE’s business unit marketing teams to curate and create content that helps build TE’s social media channels and across TE’s digital marketing teams for best practice sharing and te.com new function deployments. They design and maintain relevant portions of TE.com, external data activities and potential partner sites; monitor, evaluate and integrate digital programs to maintain the best user experience on TE.com for business units. They manage digital campaigns to align with the efforts of integrated marketing campaigns and strategies and drive content integration strategies and optimization and manage TE’s social media authoring/monitoring platform. The teams are also responsible for online database management including email communication plan, database selection, expansion and maintenance. Team members have experience with content publishing, CRM, various tools and content management suites (i.e. Adobe), sales and marketing automation systems (Eloqua, SalesForce.com), Microsoft Office and Adobe marketing tools; as well as experience with brand reputation management, and/or brand protection.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive digital marketing & social media specialist to elevate TE China’s digital impact across major Chinese social media platforms. This role is expected to combine solid operational experience, content guidance capabilities, data-driven thinking, and a strong curiosity for new digital marketing trends to support TE’s digital growth.

Responsibilities

1.    China Social Media Operations
•    Lead operations across Douyin, Xiaohongshu, WeChat Channels, Bilibili, etc.
•    Provide professional content guidance to BU teams, including storyline, tone, format, and execution suggestions.
•    Work with BU teams and experts to co-create or independently produce video content or other forms for social media.
•    Manage daily account operations and strengthen user engagement and follower growth.
•    Plan and optimize paid social campaigns for content amplification and account growth.
2.    Data Analytics and Insights
•    Build and maintain reports/dashboards for multi-platform performance tracking.
•    Analyze performance data to identify insights, growth opportunities, and strategic risks.
•    Provide data-driven explanations of social media result and campaign impact.
3.    Innovation and New Trends Exploration
•    Keep up with evolving social media algorithms, features, formats, and emerging content patterns.
•    Explore and test new digital marketing tools, including AI-driven solutions (e.g., AIGC tools, GEO, automation tools, etc.).
•    Evaluate the applicability of new trends and propose innovative approaches to enhance TE China’s digital presence.
•    Pilot new content formats or experimental projects where appropriate.
4.    Integrated Digital Marketing Support
•    Support broader marketing programs, including webinars, cross-platform campaigns, and O2O initiatives.
•    Work closely with BU marketing, global colleagues, and external vendors.
•    Manage agencies to ensure high-quality delivery and consistent brand execution.

Background & Qualifications
    •    2–4 years of hands-on Chinese social media operations experience, preferably in B2B, industrial, or tech sectors.
    •    Deep understanding of Douyin, Xiaohongshu, WeChat Channels, Bilibili platform mechanics, content formats, algorithms, and paid ad ecosystems.
    •    Strong content sense; capable of guiding BU content production with clear professional judgement.
    •    Experience producing or co-producing short videos and social content.
    •    Strong data analysis capability and ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
    •    Curiosity and passion for AI, GEO, and other emerging digital marketing technologies.
    •    Experience with digital marketing tools like Eloqua, Salesforce, SCRM/CDP, Adobe Analytics, and AEM is a plus.
    •    Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working within matrix organizations.
    •    Proactive, innovative, and self-driven; eager to learn and experiment.
    •    Fluent in Mandarin & English.
