Job Overview
- The Account Manager is the field sales person for a number of strategic accounts in a defined territory and/or a specific industry/technology.
- The Account Manager is responsible for managing all aspects at a customer targeting maximum revenue, account penetration and customer satisfaction. This includes develop the account strategy, account planning and relationship management as well as promotion activities or project management tasks.
- The position has to detect and realize new opportunities/projects and is responsible for increasing the customer share and managing the project pipeline thru with Field or Resident Engineers.
- To ensure complying services and project realization for the customer the position is working closely with multiple different functions within TE.
Job Requirements
- Be responsible for all the sales activities in the assigned territory-East China
- Continuously caring for a good trusting relationship between the customer and TE in order to driving for sales increment.
- Promote TE technologies and product portfolio(Medical interventional related catheter, hypo tube, guidewire, heat shrink tubing and special connection solution including connectors, cables, sensors for medical equipment) at the customer
- Detect new opportunities and drive the project thru engineering/ project management team
- Coordinate with internal disciplines to serve the customer on time in terms of quotations, quality complaints, logistics, technical information, etc
- Provide forecasting in monthly basis and drive for accuracy improvement
- Engage and drive the TE organization to support and respond in timeframe & quality level that the customer expects
- Work closely with Marketing and Product Management team to develop the customers business
- Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Finance and other departments to assure smooth operations and ECE delivery to customer
What your background should look like
- Bachelor degree in engineering, sales & marketing, etc.
- At least 5 years working experience in sales and marketing related position and 3 years+ Key Account management or territory sales management, OEM for Medical equipment or disposable devices related sales background is highly preferred
- Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, strong in client management.
- Good analytical skills and strong business sense
- Personal drive, assertive, and good time management
- Fluent spoken & written English
