Job Overview

Responsibilities:  

  •  Manage Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL’s) and increase conversion rate 
  • Ability to manage multiple small (fragmented) to mid-size (strategic) accounts alone or in conjunction with field sales to achieve revenue targets
  • Create new contacts for prospect accounts 
  • Support and follow-up on marketing campaigns 
  • Identify data for PAM, TAM, SAM to be utilized in developing a customer strategy 
  • Understand landscape of underserved customer/market 
  • Knowledge of our current/future product positioning to gain or re-gain market share, including identifying the right selling methodology 
  • Understanding of how to identify competition & key product offerings • Basic negotiations and follow up on Request for Quote. Respond to Request for Quote from Customer Care or directly from Customer 
  • Manage scheduled interactions with assigned accounts 
  • Ability to manage and lead customer interaction via phone/email/etc. without benefit of face-toface 
  • Build customer partnerships by continually demonstrating a strong value proposition and ECE • Nurture / Develop prospect customers through outbound reach, including issue resolution
  • Develop influencing skills through relationship management, strong communication, and synthesize information in a coherent and impactful way
  • Research & Prepare materials prior to customer outreach to align to expected conversation 
  • Build and maintain relationships with distributor partners through the quote, order placement, and order management process
  • Drive brand awareness and positioning with our customers (solutions and capabilities)
  • Promote BU technologies and product capabilities with the customer
  • Some Customer visits

Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in technical (Engineering, IT, etc.), business, or related field. 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of previous Inside Sales or Outside Sales experience preferred.
  • Industry experience a plus. 
  • Customer facing experience required. 
  • Demonstrated excellent communicator (verbal, written, spoken) with exceptional listening skills. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a member of an account team to identify new opportunities and achieve team goals.
  • Analytical and structured thinking with a creative ability to work toward targets and identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Strong Business Acumen, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking.
  • Action Oriented – Results Driver. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision to take ownership of, and maintain progress on, multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to changing priorities, strategies and business conditions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce.com preferred. 
  • Good command of English
