Job Overview
The SAP Release & Test Management Analyst (m/f/d) supports the planning, coordination, and execution of SAP releases across enterprise landscapes. This role focuses on test governance, release quality, and compliance, ensuring SAP and RPA-related changes are production-ready, traceable, and aligned with enterprise change and release standards.
This is a fully remote position that can be based anywhere in EMEA.
Job Requirements
SAP Release Management:
• Support maintenance of the SAP Release Calendar, scope locks, and deployment schedules
• Coordinate monthly and ad-hoc SAP releases across DEV, QAS, and PRD landscapes
• Execute SAP Release and Change Management processes (ChaRM / Cloud ALM / Solution Manager)
• Coordinate transport readiness, sequencing, and release checkpoints
• Validate release scope ensuring all changes are tested and approved prior to production
• Prepare release documentation and stakeholder communications
Test Management:
• Execute SAP test strategy aligned to release cycles
• Coordinate testing activities across functional, technical, Basis, and security teams
• Ensure availability of test systems, test data, and test users
• Monitor regression testing during scope lock periods
• Collect, review, and validate test evidence for audit and compliance
• Track defects, testing risks, and quality issues and escalate as needed
RPA Governance & Coordination:
• Support governance of RPA solutions impacting SAP processes
• Ensure RPA changes align with SAP release, change, and testing standards
• Coordinate testing dependencies and release alignment between SAP and RPA teams
• Support review of RPA production readiness and SAP impact
Technical & Operational Testing:
• Coordinate SAP OS upgrade-related testing activities
• Prepare and manage SAP test users for technical and OS testing
• Support execution and validation of SAP OS testing with infrastructure teams
What your background should look like
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3–6 years of experience supporting SAP applications, release coordination, or test management
• Experience working with global and offshore teams is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting SAP Release and Test Management in enterprise SAP landscapes
• Knowledge of SAP Change and Release Management tools (ChaRM, Cloud ALM, Solution Manager)
• Understanding of SAP transport management and release cycles
• Experience coordinating regression testing and UAT activities
• Exposure to RPA platforms and governance concepts preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to work in structured, compliance-driven environments
