Job Overview

Position Summary:  
This individual will be responsible for implementing Trade Compliance related projects by analyzing, developing/configuring, and maintaining  applications in accordance with the TEIS development and project management methodologies to support strategic and tactical compliance initiatives. A strong candidate will have a solid background in Trade Compliance topics, including using and maintaining automated solutions.


Position Duties/Responsibilities
1.    Understand and document business requirements to determine the needs of the business around export compliance concerns.
2.    Suggest automated and active event management solutions.
3.    Translate business requirements into technical requirements, and work with development teams to implement custom solutions within existing applications/architectures.
4.    Analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation (full lifecycle) of trade compliance applications.  
5.    Adherence to TEIS best practices and development/project management methodologies.
6.    Support Enterprise Applications in adherence to service level agreements (examples include free trade agreements, denied party screening, product licensing, foreign trade reporting, Mexico Pedimento systems)
7.    Creation of documentation and training materials for support personnel as well as end-users of the applications.

What your background should look like:

1.    Strong technical experience with the following technologies - Solaris/Unix scripting, Oracle / PLSQL, XML, Java, Mulesoft
2.    Prior experience with SAP S/4 SD Processes is preferred.
3.    Minimum 5 years of experience in complete lifecycle development for Enterprise Applications.
4.    Strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
5.    Excellent oral and written communication.
6.    Ability to multi-task, working on multiple projects at once, while adhering to established project timeframes.
7.    Ability to contribute to the design and architecture of the proposed solution in new tools/technical methods.
8.    Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
9.    Prior experience with Trade Compliance applications, SAP, and reporting and analysis tools is a plus.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience preferred.

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $94,720-142,080 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
