Job Overview

The Production Supervisor manages and develops the team, ensuring integration, training, and performance evaluation.
They are responsible for safety, quality, and productivity by promoting best practices and compliance with company standards.
The role includes coordinating daily operations, continuous improvement, and collaboration with support functions.

Job Requirements

Integrate and welcome new employees.
Share institutional and HR information.
Manage HR administration (compensation, vacations, absences, contracts).
Lead and participate in team meetings.
Implement training and development plans.
Coach Team Leaders and promote autonomy.
Conduct performance evaluations and regular feedback.
Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and company values.
Communicate objectives and recognize positive behaviors.
Ensure use of PPE and adherence to safety rules.
Lead by example for accident prevention.
Promote hygiene, safety, and environmental standards.
Identify and resolve unsafe conditions.
Conduct and record safety activities and incident investigations.
Promote zero-defect culture.
Ensure compliance with quality procedures.
Oversee product and process approval tests.
Coach Team Leaders on quality basics.
Achieve shift objectives through production control.
Optimize resources (people, machines, materials).
Ensure proper documentation and management of production boards and purchase orders.
Ensure daily KPIs and meaningful objectives.
Conduct detailed shift handovers and prepare shift reports.
Record safety, quality, and productivity occurrences.
Perform GEMBA walks for continuous improvement.
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with standards.
Encourage and implement improvement ideas.
Manage visual management and coordinate with support functions.
Coach and support line QRM.

What your background should look like

Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s degree Technical and management area
Base knowledge of Lean tools/methodologies is an advantage
3 years minimum in a similar position
Strong team formation and leadership skills
Good knowledge in mechanics and in the polymer process technique
Good English knowledge, verbal and in writing
Advanced skills and knowledge in Microsoft Excell, SAP is a must
