LOGISTICS ANALYST I

Job Scope:  To manage local logistic and warehouse processes including transportation and customs

Main Target Summary

  • To control, support  and if necessary correct all activities within San Salvo warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Support and negotiate with production departments and OV.

 

Tasks Summary & Responsibilities

  • Autonomous management and coordination of logistics processes.
  • Close cooperation with manufacturing departments
  • Cooperation by implementing of operational metrics and measurements and ensure operations and costs are managed to metrics and goals
  • Use knowledge of TEOA (identification of bottlenecks, definition of savings)
  • Identify and calculate logistics performance and costs (logistic controlling)
  • Further development and optimization of processes and material flow
  • Keeping up to date logistics processes
  • Coordination of projects in the material stock-production (eg Kanban, Milk run, supermarket)
  • Accountability
  • control the warehouse performance with target> 99.5%

Educational Degree

 

 

 

 

  • Management Engineering

Professional Experience         (years in what processes and functions would be ideal)

 

  • Industry 4.0 integrated with logistic (implementation of AGV; digitalization)
  • 1-2 years work experience   

Special Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

 

 

 

 

  • English  (active knowledge – written and oral)
  • EXCEL Advanced

 

The offer is about a fixed-term contract.

 

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
