MASTER DATA ANALYST

Job Overview

The successful candidate will support the SAP PRM Global Master Data team which has responsibility for creating and maintaining SAP Material Master data (multiple functional data views – planning, purchasing, quality, engineering, warehouse, sales etc.,) in addition to BOM’s and Routings. The position reports to the Master Data Manger.

What your background should look like:

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Functional SME for Material master, responsible for creating and maintaining all material master data objects including,

o    Materials, 
o    BOMs, 
o    Routers,
o    Maintaining Master data for other SAP PRM objects as may be defined from time to time.

• This position supports all business functions by ensuring master data integrity in all views as well as maintaining the processes to deliver accurate Material Master data. 
• Contribute to the development of business processes to sustain and improve the quality of data received whilst proactively driving a “right first time” culture in relation to data governance.
• Co-ordinate with Document Control Administrators and Requestors in the maintenance of all Quality controlled fields.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data-related problems ensure business continuity. 
• Manage & analyses data requests in a timely manner for compliance, accuracy and completeness

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Engineering / any bachelor’s degree
• The Individual must have at least 2 to 4 years of experience within SAP Master Data 
• Previous experience with SAP Master Data (preferably Material Master) in a manufacturing environment is essential. 
• A thorough understanding of data requirements and governance in Material Master, BOM, Routing etc.,
• Exposure to PLM tools will be an added advantage.
