REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION MANAGER

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Regional Distribution Manager will have full responsibility for the distribution strategy for the Emerging Regions, including Poland, Czech and other Eastern European Countries.  The holder will manage/co-ordinate/provide support to our AD&M channel partners to ensure the continued growth of TE products into regional customers.  You will also contribute to the development and execution of the EMEA Distribution Strategy working closely with the EMEA Distribution Manager. 

 

This is a remote position and we are looking for candidates based in Poland

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Develop specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all business units’ products for the region
  • Manage key/strategic distributors - create individual growth account plans, conduct regular reviews, operate at all levels within the account, POS integrity, NPI
  • Create and manage project pipeline identifying new growth opportunities
  • Accurate reporting and system maintenance: SFDC, S&OP, Pipeline, RTS, monthly management reports
  • Ownership of Distribution Sales Budget for Emerging Regions and assures adherence to budget, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
  • Develop knowledge of markets and products to enable correct decision-making
  • Co-ordinate lead referrals
  • Support tech days & exhibitions where required
  • Develop relationships with key support staff internally and externally
  • Participation in Distribution Training
  • Coordinate distribution activity with the local Sales team
  • Represent the ADM (Aerospace, Defense and Marine) Distribution Team at local Sales Meetings
  • Work with TE Channel organisation and their partners to promote ADM
  • Identify opportunities to gain market share through the distribution channels by product positioning
  • Integration of new products and new distributors

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Strong sales and technical background
  • Experience in managing across geographies and cultures 
  • Degree in engineering, related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven success, knowledge and experience of selling, key account management, pipeline management, negotiation skills, sales planning, building relationships, managing sales processes 
  • Ability to deliver dynamic sales presentations.
  • Strong business acumen
  • CRM experience
  • Ability to work with shared leadership and in cross functional teams.
  •  Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends.
  • Strong leadership, team building and advanced coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate people, and assess and develop employee skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
