Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Process Excellence Manager to join our Smart Factory team in the Advanced Manufacturing & Technology organization. The Process Excellence Manager will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, fostering innovation, and ensuring continuous improvement in line with Industry 4.0 principles. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and communication skills, a working understanding of manufacturing processes, and expertise in program management.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Management, Process Improvement, and Optimization
- Support key initiatives by developing reporting and communications programs to keep key stakeholders informed and engaged, and to hold project teams accountable for driving the programs forward.
- Act as the Project Management Office (PMO) to support active programs by helping teams connect with necessary experts throughout TE to advance their initiatives.
- Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process excellence methodologies.
- Analyze current manufacturing and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and execute process optimization strategies that align with Smart Factory objectives, focusing on automation, digitalization, and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes across global manufacturing sites.
- Drive programs by facilitating change management with cross functional teams & leading through influence.
Digital Transformation and Innovation
- Drive the adoption and integration of smart technologies, including IoT, AI, machine learning, robotics, and advanced manufacturing systems.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance factory operations and ensure scalability.
- Partner with IT and engineering teams to develop and implement digital tools and platforms for real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making.
Performance Management
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Leadership and Collaboration
- Serve as a change agent to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
- Provide training and mentorship to teams on process improvement methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions, including production, quality, supply chain, and finance, to achieve shared objectives.
- Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver process improvement initiatives on time and within budget.
What your background should look like:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing, process improvement, or operations management, preferably within a global organization.
- Proven experience leading process improvement initiatives in a Smart Factory or Industry 4.0 environment.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt certification preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Expertise in advanced manufacturing technologies, such as IoT, robotics, and data analytics.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and compliance standards.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $166,000 – 240,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
