Job Overview
The Senior Manager, Talent Technology & Operations is responsible for developing and implementing the technology strategy for Global Talent Management (GTM) and overseeing the administration and execution of strategic program operations. The leader splits their time between the oversight of talent and learning technologies, strategic partnerships, and managing the global GTM Operations team to ensure talent solutions maximize impact and drive the efficient use of COE resources.
• Strategy: Develop and manage the Talent Technology strategy to optimize talent tech stack and capabilities; own strategic talent tech roadmap including connections to HCM platform (SAP), emergent technology (AI), talent platforms, content partnerships, instructional technologies. Leads talent tech ecosystem, integration of skills-based development, proactively explores future trends / innovation and leverages industry best practices; manages Talent tech budget, vendor relationships and procurement process.
• Business Mindset: Ensure talent management technology and skills-based solutions are business-driven and aligned to the enterprise talent and learning strategy. Translate voice of customer / business into scalable solutions that leverage standard, global technologies. Promote employee and manager self-service and the utilization of Talent technologies across TE’s enterprise.
• Operations / Execution Focus: Manages the GTM operations team. Oversees the comprehensive support for strategic development programs and delivery of targeted elearning content. Provides thought leadership on talent management to improve standard talent management practices and processes.
• Teamwork: Collaborate across OneHR (across GTM COE, HR Tech / Shared Services, segment/BU HR, IT, Finance, Operations) to provide talent technology solutions for learning and leadership, engagement & inclusion, and organization effectiveness. Partner with HR Tech & Integration team on tech & process integration, emergent technologies (AI), system deployments and ongoing enhancements. Establishes partnerships with enterprise leaders in learning (Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, IT / TEIS, Legal / Compliance, Continuous Improvement / TEOA); ensures GTM Operations team provides partnership for impact.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifies and tracks impact metrics and KPIs; ensures talent and learning technologies and operations are delivered with quality, speed, and cost effectiveness. Works to find and promote efficiencies and optimize talent management processes and GTM Operations, leveraging emergent technologies (AI) and automated solutions where possible. Streamlines all vendor relationships and channels them through the GTM COE for strategic partnership or HR Solutions for vendor management where possible. Provides input to enterprise talent management strategies and drives impact and consistency across businesses, functions, regions, or enterprise.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (High School +4 years), Masters Degree Preferred (High School +6 years)
- Minimum 8+ years experience managing and implementing talent management technologies, (talent marketplace, learning management systems and employee engagement platforms), skill-based strategies, APIs and platform integration, leading tech initiatives and programs (including utilization of generative AI); experience managing, leading a team and capacity planning. Prior HR consulting experience is preferred.
- Deep experience building cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders in a matrix environment and working between a Talent Management COE and the HR Technology (HCM) / HR Shared Services organizations to implement and manage HR tech solutions.
- Expertise in learning technology (including AI) and administration, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI), consulting, learning reporting and analytics, content management, vendor management, change management, and instructional design. Knowledge of learning and leadership development programming, organizational development and talent assessment is preferred.
- Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills across all levels of the organization; ability to communicate technical content with precision and simplicity. Sponsor engagement and executive presence to influence peers / stakeholders to drive adoption, establish sound processes and practices.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $146,500 – 183,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
