Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Procurement Teams are responsible for developing and implementing multi-year strategies for commodities, suppliers and services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They generate forecasts and perform analysis to identify trends, opportunities, threats and needed course correction in purchasing, strategic sourcing and other areas of business. They are also responsible for creating "what if" scenarios to guide future business planning decisions.

Qualification

 

  • Experience in Purchasing/Procurement (8+ years)
  • Experienced Manager with strong methodology/strategic knowledge as well as operational/tactical know-how.
  • Background on strategic purchasing fundamentals in a global environment is beneficial (seven steps of strategic sourcing, C.P.M qualification
  • Leadership experience and strong change management / organization development skills, experience of leading a remote Organization is a plus
  • Proficient in SAP and MS office: advanced practice of Excel and PowerPoin
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial documentation and make reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Experience with third party procurement bidding and analysis tools such as Jaggaer is a plus
  • Business planning and forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills.  English language skills in speech and writing
  • Ability to speak persuasively in front of a large audience which may include from management to the executive level
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, able to work well with international teams and individuals, not afraid to push for change, but humble in approach
  • Education: Bachelor level degree in Engineering, Business, Procurement, Finance or related field.  Advanced degree is a plus.
    Manufacturing technologies experience, a technical background is a plus

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,800 – 193,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
