Job Overview
The Director of Product Finance is a strategic leader responsible for driving growth and profitability across product portfolios in close partnership with Product and Project Management. This role ensures that financial strategies are fully aligned with BU strategy, leads the Product Finance team, and supports the Lean PD process through robust financial stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment
• Serve as a key financial business partner to Product Management, supporting portfolio growth and profitability initiatives that align with BU strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed financial rigor and insight into product strategy, go-to-market plans, and investment decisions.
• Provide financial leadership in business case development, project approval, and capital expenditure management.
Lean Product Development (Lean PD) Support
• Lead a team to create, maintain, and continuously improve project financials that drive profitable growth throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure financial processes and controls support Lean PD principles, enabling efficient resource allocation and effective risk management.
• Oversee the cadence of portfolio-focused financial reviews, margin mix analysis, and forecasting activities.
Team Leadership & Business Enablement
• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business enablement.
• Drive the PM Finance organization to act as proactive business enablers, supporting the broader BU in achieving strategic and operational objectives.
• Assess team capabilities, identify gaps, and implement development plans to build deep product and process knowledge, challenging business partners effectively.
Financial Operations & Reporting
• Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for product portfolios, including sales, margin, and P&L consolidation.
• Support the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports for business partners.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, controls, and annual recost processes.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
• 5+ years in progressive financial leadership roles, ideally within a product-driven or manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting Product Management and Lean PD processes
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive business enablement
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $171,900 – 257,800 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
