BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST II

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Procurement Business Process Teams develop and deploy procurement processes, systems, reporting and audits compliance. They drive continuous improvement throughout the procurement function, develop and maintain procurement systems, tools and databases such as vendor master files, e-procurement quotation tool, procurement web page, supplier portal, SharePoint and the like. They conduct regular external benchmarking to stay abreast of procurement best practices, run procurement reports and perform analysis to identify trends, opportunities, threats and needed course correction as well as lead facilitation of procurement training and development.

Responsibilties

•    Track compliance metrics.  Train internal teams on compliance initiatives. 
•    Drive compliance initiatives through supplier contact.
•    Serve internal customers with reports regarding compliance metrics.
•    Support suppliers with using TE compliance tools.
•    Assist in procurement audits.
•    Input/edit pricing and sourcing records in SAP.
•    Present to executive leadership summaries on open issues and projects including action plans and time lines for completion.
•    Support transfer of new products from development.
•    Able to work independently on a variety of problems. Exercises judgment within established procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
•    Lead process to implement and maintain tools to track and drive compliance.
•    Assist in RFQ’s.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               •    Travel up to 10%, including international travel, may be required.

 

 

What your background should look like:

•    Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years experience. Supply chain, procurement, or engineering experience with compliance experience preferred.
•    Knowledge of government compliance (Buy American, Small Business Plans, etc) is a plus.
•    Strong understanding and working knowledge of MRP systems , SAP preferred
•    Understanding of production methods and quality assurance methods.
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.
•    Team player, hands-on attitude, empowerment culture, ability to work with little supervision.
•    Demonstrated track record of business process project management.
