Job Overview
The Energy Business Unit is currently seeking a Senior Manager, Finance for the Americas region with a preferred location in proximity to Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina or remote with ability to travel as needed.
Finance support for Energy Americas is organized into the following areas:
- Base Business (all products excluding solar)
- Solar Products
- Harger Integration
- Richards Integration
The Sr. Manager, Finance is responsible for commercial and operations finance for the Base Business. He or she will have oversight of the Energy Americas base business P&L. This position reports to the Americas Sr. Director of Finance and will partner with the Energy Americas GM and other functional leaders.
The Senior Manager, Finance must be an exceptional business partner and will support all commercial and operations finance aspects of the base business. The position will work with the Sr. Director, Americas Finance to act as a business partner to the Energy Americas GM and commercial leaders. The role will also manage Energy Americas operations finance team. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded finance background, including prior experience in commercial and operations finance

Job Requirements
- Partner with Sr. Director Americas Finance and Americas GM to own the Energy Americas Base Business P&L and drive profitable growth
- Support monthly close and quarterly forecast process for Energy Americas Base Busines
- Commercial finance
- Support bookings and billings forecast in coordination with S&OP process
- Partner with HR and Sales leaders on Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) development
- Partner with commercial team on managing commercial incentive programs (distributor rebates, manufacturers rep commissions
- Operations finance
- Partner with Energy Americas operations finance manager to oversee plant financials and controlling
- Help drive productivity initiatives in partnership with operations team and Energy Americas operations finance manager
- Partner with Operations team on inventory management improvement actions and controls
- Partner with sales and PM functions on ad hoc financial analyses as needed
- Support M&A business case development and due diligence
What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business management.
- 13+ years’ experience in Finance assignments of increasing responsibility, including commercial and operations finance experience related to reporting, controllership and forecasting
- Knowledge of manufacturing finance and experience as a business partner to operations teams
- Prior experience partnering with commercial teams and a proven track record of working in a cross-functional team environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, including ability to manage finance projects
- Positive and energetic approach with a ‘can do’ attitude and an open personality
- Accurate, systematic, and independent work style
- Strong problem solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Decision maker and ability to influence others.
- Able to link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced, matrix organization
- Ability to communicate effectively with higher management
- Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Knowledge of SAP and HFM
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and data consolidation tools.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $143,600 - $185,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
