Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, we help create a safer, more sustainable, and more connected world. Within our Professional Services organization, Project Managers play a critical role in ensuring our customers successfully receive and implement TE products and solutions.
The Project Manager III is a senior, customer facing‑ role responsible for managing post sale‑ delivery projects using released products and defined scopes of work. This position takes ownership after commercial handoff from Sales and serves as the single point of accountability for execution, communication, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
The Project Manager coordinates cross functional teams to deliver on contractual commitments, manage changes, resolve issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time and with a ‑high-quality‑ customer experience.
This is a hybrid position (candidates are expected to be at the plant a few days a month).Candidates located near Raleigh, North Carolina—particularly near our Fuquay‑Varina site—are strongly preferred to support collaboration and customer engagement.
Job Requirements
Process & Scale
- Proven ability to create and own delivery processes, templates, and standards.
- Experience improving project execution consistency across a growing portfolio.

Customer Facing‑ Project Leadership
- Serve as the primary customer interface from project kickoff through completion.
- Own customer communication, status reporting, and issue resolution.
- Build trust based relationships through proactive, clear, and timely‑ communication.
- Lead customer meetings (virtual and in‑person), including kickoff, milestone reviews, and closeout.
- Represent TE professionally and consistently, always demonstrating a customer first‑ mindset.
Commercial & Delivery Execution
- Take ownership of projects following commercial handoff from Sales.
- Manage delivery of released products and defined services in accordance with contractual commitments.
- Own project scope, schedule, milestones, and delivery dates.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders across Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, Field Services, and Technical Services.
- Identify, manage, and communicate risks, dependencies, and constraints.
- Lead change management activities, including scope changes, schedule impacts, and customer‑requested modifications.
- Ensure disciplined project closeout, documentation, and customer feedback capture.
Portfolio & Reporting Management
- Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously with varying complexity.
- Provide accurate, concise reporting on project status, risks, and delivery performance.
- Maintain project data and documentation as a reliable source of truth for stakeholders.
- Use enterprise project management tools, including Planisware, to manage schedules and portfolio visibility.
Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Ability to influence people and processes, and change without direct line authority
- Act as a self‑starter who identifies gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Create, document, and own project delivery processes where needed.
- Drive consistency and predictability in how projects are executed.
- Leverage data, dashboards, and tools to improve visibility and decision‑making.
- Champion ways to help the team work smarter, not harder
Technology & Work Environment
- Operate in a Microsoft Teams–based collaboration environment.
- Use enterprise project and portfolio management tools; experience with or willingness to learn Planisware.
- Comfortable working in distributed, cross‑functional teams.
What your background should look like
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of professional experience in customer facing‑ project management, professional services, or commercial delivery roles.
- Minimum of 3 years managing medium complexity‑ customer delivery projects.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating cross‑functional teams without direct authority.
- Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting schedule and delivery commitments.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and comfort operating with minimal direction.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills.
Certifications (Desired)
- PMP, CAPM, PgMP (PMI) or equivalent project management certification.

Digital, Data & Automation
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve project reporting, communication, risk identification, or workflow efficiency.
- Experience creating or maintaining project dashboards for customer or leadership visibility.
- Familiarity with building or working with APIs to connect project tools, reporting platforms, or enterprise systems.
- Strong data literacy and comfort using metrics to drive improvements.
Industry Experience
- Experience supporting projects related to data centers, solar farms, energy infrastructure, or electrical components.
- Background working with industrial, infrastructure, or large commercial customers.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $95,700-$143,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
