Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Continuous Improvement Teams design and implement programs and projects to improve products, services, or processes aligned with business strategies. They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.

Your responsibilities

Continuous Improvement Manager analyzes a company's processes and makes suggestions on how to improve them, working with the Operations and Supply Chain teams in recognizing opportunities, making and implementing changes, and sustaining improvements.

As a member of continuous improvement community at TE you will be responsible for engaging staff on the frontlines to help identify and solve problems, improve efficiency, add value and streamline processes. You will also provide trainings when necessary.

Specific duties:

  • Analyzing company processes and procedures.
  • Developing process enhancement strategies.
  • Investigating shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes.
  • Establishing norms and standards of company performance.
  • Monitoring staff performance and organizational processes.
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to enhance productivity and staff satisfaction.
  • Communicating ideas and opinions to other members of management.
  • Managing staff cohorts and teams of various sizes.
  • Training, mentoring, and guiding team members in new processes.
  • Staying up-to-date with developments in management and process optimization.

What your background should look like:

  • University Degree in engineering, technology
  • Proven experience (at least 3 years) in operations/engineering/production or quality and interest in Continuous Improvement activities
  • Good communication skills (English at least at C1) and Slovak/Czech or Hungarian
  • Strong interest in development within CI methodologies (Lean Management, 5S, Kaizen, FMEA, Cause-and-Effect)
