INSIDE SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

JOB OVERVIEW:

As Inside Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for proactively establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with small and medium sized customers. Your focus on customer satisfaction is key for this. As account manager you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and growing revenue in your assigned territory, with customers who are active in the Industrial and Commercial Transportation market. This includes identifying and converting new opportunities, increasing TE Connectivity’s market share, and managing the project pipeline. The Inside Sales Account Manager manages all aspects of demand creation with an entrepreneurial mindset, builds strong customer relationships and manages internal and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Building customer partnerships by consistently demonstrating a strong value proposition and customer experience.
  • Driving profitable sales growth within your territory, aligning with our market strategies. 
  • Identifying and assessing new business opportunities within your territory. 
  • Driving brand awareness and positioning with our customers.
  • Nurturing and developing prospected customers through outbound reach.
  • Understanding of the (competitive) business landscape and ability to conduct competitive analysis.
  • Basic negotiation skills and ability to follow up on requests for technical support.
  • Developing customer relationships through efficient and clear communication. 
  • Strong customer focus with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to manage customer interaction using business tools, even without the benefit of face-to-face communication.
  • Managing the prioritization and follow-up on leads and customer requests.
  • Work on the development, coordination, and optimization of customer mapping to enhance our market penetration.
  • Getting insights from customer data analysis to identify growth areas for your territory.  
  • Liaising effectively with various internal business partners, to resolve customer inquiries and requests.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A Customer-focused mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Fluent in English
  • Preferred experience in sales, engineering, applications engineering or product management.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for technical sales and working with our customers. 
  • The ability to conduct a market analysis of the customer environment. 
  • The ability to engage effectively with new people and develop genuine connections to facilitate future business deals.
  • A goal-oriented and results-driven mindset. 
  • An enthusiastic proactive approach to working.
