By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will transform data into actionable insights that drive critical design decisions and enhance product performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate engineering challenges into analytical problems and solve them using advanced methods (e.g., physics-based modeling, DOE, statistics, simulation).
  • Acquire, clean, and analyze large, multi-source datasets to identify trends and inform product/process design.
  • Develop custom algorithms for mechanical/signal integrity modeling and early-stage product validation.
  • Build tools and processes for efficient data collection, enabling traceability and large-scale correlation analysis.
  • Clearly present data-driven findings and complex results to diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Support reliability testing, troubleshooting, and technical customer requests.
  • Embed best practices to reduce costs and improve "first-time-right" design and manufacturing.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related STEM field.
  • 10+ years of experience in quality assurance or reliability engineering.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (Stamping, Plating, Assembly, Molding) and GD&T.
  • Practical experience with Six Sigma tools (e.g., FMEA, 8D).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, SQL, JMP, Minitab) and a solid grasp of how mechanical principles affect electrical performance.
  • Familiarity with product development processes, 3D CAD, and simulation tools.

Preferred

  • Experience with HSIO cages/connectors, cable assemblies, or OTB products.
  • Knowledge of metal and plastic material properties.

Soft Skills

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
  • Effective in a global, cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a collaborative problem-solver.
