Job Overview
he Product Manager will be responsible for the SCS product portfolio across North and South America, with primary focus on the Latch & Lock portfolio. The role will manage the business across the full product lifecycle, from market and portfolio strategy and new product development through commercialization, profitability and lifecycle management.
This role serves as a regional business owner for the assigned SCS portfolio, working with a "mini-GM" mindset and taking responsibility for product strategy, market development, business planning, pricing, profitability and portfolio performance.
The successful candidate will combine strong product management experience, business acumen, commercial judgment and disciplined execution. This individual will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain and other global and regional functions to identify growth opportunities, develop business plans and drive execution.
While Latch & Lock will be the initial and primary focus, the role will progressively support and take responsibility for the broader SCS portfolio in the Americas based on business priorities and demonstrated capability.

Market & Product Strategy
• Own and develop the regional product strategy for the assigned SCS portfolio across North and South America, with initial priority on Latch & Lock.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, applications, competitive landscape and regional growth opportunities.
• Conduct market segmentation and competitive analysis to identify portfolio gaps and growth opportunities.
• Develop product roadmaps aligned with market needs and overall business strategy.
• Define regional value propositions and go-to-market strategies in partnership with Sales and Marketing.
• Manage the product lifecycle, including new product introduction, portfolio optimization and end -of-life decisions. Business & Financial Management
• Manage the assigned SCS portfolio with accountability for sales, margin, growth and overall business performance.
• Develop annual operating plans and longer-term business plans for the assigned SCS portfolio.
• Monitor actual performance against business plans, identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies and support key pricing decisions.
• Evaluate business cases, investments and growth opportunities using sound financial and commercial judgment.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on demand forecast, capacity, inventory and supply considerations.
• Identify and drive opportunities for profitable growth, cost improvement and SCS portfolio optimization. New Product Development & Opportunity Management
• Identify and prioritize new product and business opportunities across the assigned SCS portfolio based on market and customer needs, with initial priority on Latch & Lock.
• Serve as the business and opportunity champion for new product development projects.
• Develop business cases, market requirements, demand forecasts, pricing assumptions and commercialization plans.
• Work closely with Engineering and Operations to translate market and customer requirements into product solutions.
• Support customer meetings and commercial discussions to win new business.
• Drive product launches and monitor post-launch performance to ensure business objectives are achieved.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, with demonstrated Product Management experience.
• Experience managing a product line, product portfolio or business with commercial and financial responsibility; experience across multiple related product families is a plus.
• Strong business acumen, with demonstrated understanding of pricing, margin, cost, investment decisions and key P&L drivers.
• Experience developing business cases, business plans and product strategies.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations and Finance.
• Relevant experience in industrial, automotive, transportation, electronics, connectivity or other B2B manufacturing industries preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Demonstrated ownership, reliability and ability to drive results in a matrix organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent English required; Spanish highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively across North and South America and with global teams.
• Willingness to travel as required.
