Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Global CoE Molding Leader to drive advanced molding processes across the global ICT business with a lean mindset. The successful candidate will leverage existing and emerging technologies to establish and implement lean molding solutions, set global standards, and optimize operational performance. In this role, the leader will collaborate across functions and regions, develop technical talent, and advance sustainable, cost-effective, flexible, and scalable molding solutions aligned with ICT business, product, and customer requirements.

Job Requirements

•    Innovate & Drive Molding Excellence: Lead the creation of new concepts and innovative solutions for molding processes, applying existing and emerging technologies to eliminate waste, improve robustness, and increase operational efficiency.
•    Lead Molding Projects: Identify, prioritize, sponsor, and support key projects within the CoE and Manufacturing Engineering Molding teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, CAPEX plans, lean principles, and material-flow optimization.
•    Lean Transformation & Change Leadership: Champion lean mindset transformation across engineering and manufacturing teams through Lean Industrial Design principles. Develop and deploy automation and process concepts that eliminate waste and unnecessary complexity while promoting simplicity, value creation, ergonomic efficiency, flow, and sustainability.
•    Benchmark & Collaborate: Use internal and external benchmarks and collaborate with equipment suppliers, toolmakers, research institutions, and other external partners to accelerate innovation and continuous improvement.
•    Global Standardization: Establish, document, and implement global standard solutions and best practices for molding machines, tooling, processes, controls, and related manufacturing systems across all regions and sites.
•    Network Development & Training: Build and strengthen the global CoE Molding network through coaching, mentoring, structured problem solving, technical training, and knowledge sharing.
•    Supplier Development: Collaborate with Procurement to develop molding supplier capabilities and improve quality, cost competitiveness, and technology readiness.
•    Plant Productivity & Cost Optimization: Support manufacturing sites in improving productivity, material utilization, manufacturing cost, lead time, and capital efficiency through advanced molding technologies.
•    Molding Technology Development: Align molding technology development with ICT product roadmaps, customer needs, and future manufacturing capability requirements.
•    Performance Roadmaps: Develop and execute Manufacturing Performance Roadmaps focused on cost reduction, CAPEX efficiency, lead-time improvement, and deployment of global technology priorities.
•    Digitalization & AI: Promote practical integration of automation, control systems, digital technologies, and AI-enabled capabilities to improve molding performance and decision making.
•    Talent & Diversity Development: Foster continuous learning, technical capability growth, diversity, and collaboration across the global molding community.
•    Effective Communication & Deployment: Facilitate workshops, technical forums, and TechDays to share best practices, build stakeholder ownership, and accelerate adoption of new technologies and standards.
•    Global Site Support: Travel globally as required to support manufacturing sites, project implementation, supplier collaboration, and stakeholder alignment.

What your background should look like

•    Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
•    Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing engineering, or process development roles, including at least 5 years of project management experience. Experience in a global or multi-site manufacturing environment is preferred.
•    Technical Expertise: Strong background in injection molding technologies, machines, tooling, processes, and manufacturing operations. Experience with extrusion, compounding, or adjacent technologies is a plus.
•    Operational Excellence: Proven expertise and initiative in Lean Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement.
•    Innovation & Creativity: Strong strategic and creative thinking, an open mindset, and the ability to solve complex technical and operational challenges.
•    Leadership & Influence: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to inspire teams, coach technical talent, lead through influence, and deliver results in a matrix organization.
•    Digital Expertise: Knowledge of equipment and tool design, control systems, automation, digitalization, and AI applications in molding processes.
•    Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently to collaborate with teams, manufacturing sites, suppliers, and stakeholders across regions.
•    Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential. Spanish language is a plus.
