Job Overview

The Global QMS Quality Manager is a key role within the Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M) Business Unit, responsible for managing and overseeing the AD&M quality system in alignment with the quality strategy to drive world-class business performance. In this role, you will: · Partner cross-functionally to ensure regulatory compliance and lead continuous improvement initiatives · Identify gaps and deploy new/updated procedures, supported by training to foster a zero-defect culture · Drive adoption of relevant standards, customer requirements, and SAP Quality Management · Liaise with auditing organizations, regulatory authorities, plants, and customers · Support and execute the internal audit process to ensure compliance to relevant standards


Key Tasks:

  • Implement and enhance the QMS in line with certification and customer requirements, including change management planning 
  • Develop, deliver, and verify the effectiveness of training programs
  • Drive SAP adoption for Quality Management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory certifications, TE Global QMS/1AD&M, and customer requirements through consistent procedures
  • Identify gaps and partner with site teams to develop solutions, improving COPQ and customer complaint metrics
  • Facilitate and lead on-site and remote audits across TE sites
  • Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement


Qualifications & Background: 

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business
  • Significant experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment, Plant Quality Manager experience preferred
  • Extensive working SAP QM module knowledge
  • Project management skills; PMP preferred
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, IATF16949, and AS9145 certifications
  • Proficient in quality tools: 8D, FMEA, 5Y, FAI, PPAP & APQP
  • Proven Six Sigma and Lean experience
  • Solid understanding of change control and regulatory/customer compliance
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to support leadership in executing business goals

COMPENSATION
•    Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $134,200-167,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
•    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
•    Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
