Job Overview
The Senior Quality Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring that AD&M quality systems remain compliant with regulatory and customer requirements. This role oversees critical processes and functions across AD&M sites, with a focus on driving continuous improvement initiatives to support business excellence and a zero-defect culture. Key areas of responsibility include internal audit, change management and corrective action systems. The position involves liaising with auditing organizations, notified bodies, and regulatory authorities, as well as supporting and conducting internal audits within the AD&M business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying global procedures, delivering training, and implementing process improvements where gaps are identified. You will also monitor and report on quality performance metrics, ensuring ongoing compliance and supporting continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, you will provide expertise and guidance to enable manufacturing operations to meet all applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
Key tasks of the job:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Change Control and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes
- Ensure awareness of and compliance with regulatory certifications, TE Global QMS / AD&M requirements, and customer requirements
- Manage third-party audits and certifications, including follow-up through to closure of observations, improvement actions, and non-conformances · Conduct internal audits and ensure timely and effective closure of non-conformances
- Support the rollout of global procedures to drive standardization across TE AD&M, including SAP QM module processes
- Collate and review QMS and compliance documentation
- Support the maintenance of procedures and work instructions, ensuring alignment with current practices and QMS requirements
- Promote awareness and understanding of quality policies and procedures at the site level, including delivering QMS training (e.g., new hire inductions)
- Report regularly on quality metrics to management
- Identify gaps and proactively drive improvements in collaboration with site continuous improvement teams, including reducing Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
- Conduct quality assurance reviews with operations and supply chain leadership to support continuous improvement planning
- Deliver training as required
Qualifications & Experience required: ·
- Degree in engineering, manufacturing, organization development, or business
- Extensive knowledge of SAP, product and process change control, and corrective action systems
- Experience in a Quality Systems/Management Role
- Exposure to working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working and developing strong relationships with cross functional internal and external teams.
- Proven six sigma and lean experience
- Strong knowledge of ISO9001 / AS9100 (lead AS9100 auditor certification preferred and will be required within the 1st year of role acceptance)
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of quality tools including but not limited to 8D, FMEA, 5Y, FAI’s, PPAP & APQP
- Experience in complying with customer, statutory and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $$92,900-$116,100 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
