Responsibilities:
Create and defines the supplier strategy, define suppliers into grow, fix and exit suppliers and maintains product footprint, incl. “make or buy”-analysis.
Execute Sourcing projects, both direct and indirect material, with the suppliers in close coordination with internal and external stake holders.
Achieve procurement KPI’s, incl. Material Productivity, Lead time performance, delivery (Ship To Request / Ship To Confirmation), and Quality (Defective Lots Per Million).
Responsible for contracting of supplier commercial agreements, incl. bailment, inventory management and supply agreements.
Responsible for preparing Request For Quotations, utilizing E-Tools, awarding new business and negotiation all raw materials, components, and tooling
Closely monitor capabilities and capacities of suppliers to avoid crisis
Accountable for info record and Purchase Order accuracy and communicate relevant data to Supply Chain, incl. lead time, priceand Minimum Order Quantity
Ensure and Drive MOQ optimization for material/components (incl. finished goods) used by the plant for production and establish supplier agreements, e. g. VMI, EDI, consignment, Scheduling Agreements frame order review, blanket PO)
Responsible for calculating impact and getting the Price Increase Approval Request approved
Maintain healthiness of supplier by timely conducting risk assessment and Ensure that all suppliers meet TE requirements for compliance (RoHs, Reach, conflict minerals, supplier portal usage)
Drive / support the function to comply with the ISO Related documents, process and compliance check on regular frequency
Requirements:
Fluency in Japanese and English is MUST. (Read, write and talk)
