Job Overview

This role focuses on in-factory mass production SI testing, internal test standard formulation and process quality control for high-speed connectors, cable assemblies and radio system products used in data center and wireless infrastructure. You will independently oversee factory SI test system building, standard iteration, mass production validation and abnormal quality analysis to ensure stable production output.

You will collaborate closely with factory manufacturing and process teams, and participate in R&D technical discussions and design reviews to feed back factory test challenges and mass production quality risks. Serving as the on-site SI test quality expert, you will unify factory test specifications, resolve complex on-site SI quality issues, and drive continuous optimization of test processes and quality standards from pilot run to mass production.

Job Requirements

  • Testing Standard Confirm: Confirm testing standard with customers and conduct feasibility analysis in order to provide accurate reports to meet customers requirement.         
  • Testing Standard Update: Collect related global testing standard information, and transfer this information/customer requirement to internal testing standard in order to meet business development requirements.
  • Deliver Training: Conduct trainings and deliver testing methods to testers in order to improve testers' skills.  
  • Testing Result Analysis: Analyze testing result in order to provide accurate reports to meet customers requirement.             
  • Laboratory Equipment Operation Methods and TPM: Draft laboratory equipment operation methods and monitor high speed testing equipment operation in order to improve laboratory Equipment Operation efficiency.     
  • Testing Development: Provide testing technical analysis support to improve manufacturing engineering process; research communication potential products opportunities and conduct feasibility analysis and provide feedback to supervisor in order to meet business development requirements.

What your background should look like

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Information, Communication Engineering or related majors.
  • 5+ years of experience in SI testing, factory quality engineering or high-speed product mass production electrical verification, with solid experience in factory test standard formulation and on-site quality control.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities to resolve production and test quality anomalies.
  • Fluent in English reading and writing, able to understand technical specifications for standard formulation and technical discussion.
  • Experience in quality testing of high-speed interconnect products (DAC/twinax cables, high-speed connectors) or RF subsystems.
  • Familiar with quality verification standards for servers, switches, storage and other communication equipment.
  • Good English technical presentation and cross-team communication skills.
  • Excellent multi-task management ability to deliver multiple quality projects under limited guidance.
  • Six Sigma certification or systematic quality improvement experience.
  • Proficient in operating and calibrating oscilloscopes, VNA, BERT and other SI test equipment.
  • Familiar with high-speed signal conditioning technologies such as equalization and amplification.
  • Rich on-site factory debugging experience in solving mass production SI test anomalies.
  • Cross-team project coordination experience in design, manufacturing and quality optimization.
