Job Overview
TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

Responsibilities:
1. Quality System Management
o Be responsible for implementing, and managing the quality assurance system and processes related to (sustain and new) product development to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
o Take the lead in establishing a product quality control and optimize processes, such as design reviews, sample verification, and trial run management. To ensure that the NPI process is standardized and efficient.
2. Cross - Departmental Collaboration
o Collaborate closely with departments such as R&D, engineering and production to ensure that quality factors are fully considered at all stages of new product development and to drive the achievement of quality objectives.
o Coordinate and resolve cross - departmental quality issues, promote communication and collaboration among departments, and ensure the smooth progress of projects.
3. Quality Planning and Control
o Clearly define quality objectives for each stage, to ensure that the quality plan is closely coordinated with the overall project schedule.
o Participate in new product project planning, develop quality plans and quality control programs, and clarify quality objectives, key control points, and inspection methods at each stage.
o Monitor quality activities during the new product development process, including design reviews, sample verification, trial production, etc., to ensure that all quality requirements are met.
o be proficient in applying quality tools, such as 5 core tools (FMEA, MSA, APQP, PPAP and SPC).
4. Supplier Management
o Cooperate with suppliers to ensure that the quality of raw materials, components, and outsourced services meets the requirements. Participate in the selection, evaluation, and management of suppliers, and conduct regular quality audits and performance evaluations of suppliers.
o Promote suppliers to carry out quality improvements, solve supplier quality problems, and ensure the stability of the supply chain and product quality.
5. Data Analysis and Decision Making
o Collect, analyze, and report quality data during the new product development process, identify quality trends and potential problems, and provide a basis for decision making.
o Use data analysis techniques such as statistical process control and Six Sigma to drive quality improvements and optimize product performance.
6. NPI related customer complaint
o Be proficient in applying the 8D methodology to lead cross - functional teams in conducting root - cause analysis and developing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
o Be skilled in communicating with customers and effectively managing their expectations.
7. Personnel Training and Development
o Organize quality training activities to improve the quality awareness and professional skills of team members and cultivate a quality culture.
o Provide guidance and coaching to team members, help solve problems in quality work, and promote the overall improvement of the team's capabilities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or above, with engineering major background
• Minimum 8 years working experience in quality (prefer QA and QC), with minimum 3 years quality management experience. Leadership experience is required.
• Electronic industry background (industrial, electronical, automotive industry is preferred).
• Problem-solving skill, convenience & influence, strong communication skill, voice out.
• Fluent English is a MUST.
