Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

Responsibilities:
1.    Provide strong and effective support to project management teams. Serve as primary project management support assisting project Engineer deliver successful project implementation and results.
2.    Monitor overall situation of project execution, keep close communication with across function leaders to disclosure bottleneck and risk and opportunities, deeply engaged to action plan creating and monitor progression to result.
3.    Communicate with senior management on successes, issues and lessons learned from implementation and share these across organization.
4.    Direct the activities of the project management team and determine how team resources should be allocated across projects.
5.    Monitoring productivity, resources and team members management & development.
6.    Knowledge of building inclusive relationships with empathy to drive collaboration and engagement; ability to foster an environment of inclusivity and reliability among team members.
7.    Monitor adherence to policies and procedures and relevant rules and regulations.

 

Requirements:
1.    Bachelor’s degree or above, preferred in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
2.    5+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role. 
3.    Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system or process-related issues.
4.    Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills to drive multi-team alignment.
5.    Strategic mindset with exceptional risk assessment and decision-making capabilities.
6.    Occasional travel may be required (low frequency).
7.    Workable proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
8.   Familiar with connector manufacturing process knowledge is a plus.
9.    PMP certification is a plus.
