MATERIALS PLANNING ANALYST III

AREAS OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning
Release and monitor production order, follow up the output against each production order and co-ordinate the resources to quickly solve the daily production issues in order to ensure the delivery of the component required.
Customer Order Management
(i) Receive, evaluate and confirm the customer order; identify and analyze the gaps between forecasting plan and actual customer order terms; and create the delivery orders in the system for order completion in order to fulfill our delivery commitment to our customers;
(ii) Review delivery performance, identify and solve the order delivery issues in order to improve our delivery performance to customers. STR/ALT/MFG LT
Inventory Management
(i) Identify and analyze the excess/non-active inventory items and co-ordinate with either internal or external parties in order to reduce the inventory level;
(ii) Calculate and apply for inventory scrap in order to recognize inventory risk financially and release resources for normal production;
(iii) Drive other departments to clear-up the quality blocked inventory in a timely manner in order to avoid building up unnecessary excess inventory;
(iv) Monitor and reduce inventory days in order to improve inventory turns
Inter-company Purchasing
Source, release and follow-up the inter-company purchasing orders; and maintain the inter-company purchasing database in order to obtain the most optimal deal amongst inter-company suppliers.
Capacity Planning
Collect and analyze the raw data for production capacity planning, balancing the in-house capacity and sub-contract capacity according to company development strategy in order to optimize the production capacity utilization and meet both the short term delivery demand and long-term development plan.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education, Technical Qualification & Experience
Bachelor degree with 5 year related working experience
Good command of both written and oral English
