Overview
The Operations Finance Senior analyst - Costing provides support to the plant manufacturing team which includes but not limited to analysis of costing related financial forecasts/budgets and actual results, support to plant controller, generating reports and analysis to assist manufacturing management decisions
The holder of this role is expected to actively engage with operation team to provide insights to manufacturing performance, production cost risks/opportunities, and risk mitigation to ensure the operation team achieves or exceeds financial target.
Responsibilities
• Monitor the whole costing process, including material, WIP, inventory, reserve adjustment, FDB adjustment, scrap, PPV, variance of production etc., ensure monthly closing data accurate and closing process successfully
• Deep dive of cost breakdown, figure out issues from production order, BOM, routing, standard cost and actual manufacturing cost etc., provide various analysis reports, insight to support operation improvement
• Coordination of operations forecasting process including collection, consolidation and analysis of material cost of P&L, including but not limited of material usage variance, PPV etc.
• Analysis of productivity drivers, work with TEOA team to review TEBIT saving project, identify risks and opportunities to operation performance
• Compilation and analysis of productivity bridges, metal headwinds/tailwinds, risks and opportunities
• Help controller to leader annual re-costing process, annual standard cost and hourly rate setting
• Inventory management, assist warehouse for annual inventory physical count, monthly spot count. Supporting operation team for aged inventory analysis, PFO, scrap
• Support manufacturing team on finance compliance, ensuring compliance with company policies and values
• Provision of ad hoc responsibility as needed
Requirements for Job Holder
• Bachelor’s degree or higher-level education in Finance or Accounting. CPA or CMA is plus
• 5+ years of experience in MNC costing, Plant controlling is an advantage
• Excellent analysis skill, good command on Office software, especially Excel, good knowledge on ERP system, knowing SAP is preferred
• Fluency in written and oral English
• Able to work in a fast-paced, international matrix organization
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication/presentation skills, problem solving skill
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, willing to take expansion job assignments for career development
