Job Overview
The Project Manager – NPI leads the end-to-end introduction of new products into the production site, from industrialization to start of serial production, ensuring timely launch, quality readiness, and cost targets.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage NPI projects from concept and industrialization through SOP (Start of Production)
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, purchasing, logistics)
- Own project planning, milestones, risks, and reporting
- Ensure readiness of processes, equipment, and documentation before launch
- Drive issue resolution during ramp-up and ensure smooth transition to serial production
- Supporting and sharing expertise to project teams on frameworks, processes, and related improvements.
- Evaluating project design and plan, assisting in the implementation of projects within budget and scheduling restraints.
- Providing project-specific training and consulting for team managers and related administrators. Recommending the adoption of new tools to facilitate compliance.
- Coordinating and monitoring project progress, performance and productivity.
Ideal Background
- Bachelors degree in Relevant technical field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience in relevant technical field
- Good Command in English in both verbal and written form
- Prior Experience with Microsoft Project is mandatory as you would be using it regularly in this role
- SAP is a nice to have
- Great communication as well as organization skills and proactive attitude
