Job Overview
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving innovation in the automotive space? TE Connectivity’s Automotive Business Unit is looking for a dynamic Product Manager to lead our Performance Materials portfolio. This role will shape the vision, strategy, and execution of a globally relevant product line, directly influencing the future of mobility.
This is more than a regional role—you’ll support the Americas but hold global ownership and be at the center of product development, pricing, manufacturing, marketing, and lifecycle management. You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to turn product strategies into impactful results.
Key Responsibilities
Market Strategy & Planning

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to shape product strategy.

Define and maintain the product roadmap and business plan.

Partner with R&D and Operations to develop innovative, customer-driven solutions.

Support go-to-market strategies, including channel and partnership plans.

Manage product lifecycle and contribute to annual sales and margin planning.
Product Development & Execution

Lead new product initiatives from concept through launch, including business case preparation.

Collaborate with Marketing to develop technical content and promotional materials.

Provide input for forecasting, pricing, and portfolio performance analysis.
Global Portfolio Leadership

Drive global strategy alignment and portfolio optimization efforts.

Collaborate across regions to expand product adoption and innovation.

Support product localization, rationalization, and distribution growth initiatives.
What your background should look like:
Experience & Education
-
3–5 years of experience in product-oriented roles, or 2+ years specifically in Product Management or Product Strategy.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (required).

Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) or direct P&L ownership experience (preferred).

Strong commercial and operational acumen with a strategic mindset.

Entrepreneurial thinker with a proactive, high-energy approach to problem-solving.

Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
