Job Overview

Responsible for driving Product Portfolio Definition for E-mobility Battery connectivity solutions, related growth and sustainable profitability through entire product lifecycle in EMEA. Project management for key technological initiatives.

Your main tasks:

  • Identification of Market trends, as well as coordination of benchmarking activities
  • Define next generation of E-mobility Battery solutions products for EMEA customers
  • Portfolio gaps identification, definition of Product roadmaps to support the growth goals for E-mobility Battery solutions in EMEA and globally.
  • Market analysis to identify key OEM, and Tier 1s requirements for next generation of Battery solutions products.
  • Collaboration with the sales teams in the regions to define the right account strategies for this product group.
  • Collaboration with Engineering departments to drive product innovation and differentiation
  • Definition of technology roadmaps together with all stakeholders
  • Definition of strategic plan for next 5 years within the product group
  • Full responsibility on product line profitability as well as growth.
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure right production capacity as well as upcoming needed technologies
  • Support TE presence at Trade Shows
  • Organize and support technical workshops at customers to introduce TE USPs and generate new opportunities
  • Project management responsibilities for selected initiatives / key technological projects.

Your ideal profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent. MBA highly preferred 
  • At least 7-10 years of automotive experience in:
  • Excellent technical knowledge of the TE Automotive product portfolio (e.g. Automotive Terminal, Connectors, LV & HV, Contactors, Relays preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of automotive network, S&OP process and CAPEX planning process
  • Solid knowledge of automotive Operations / Manufacturing processes
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Proven track record / managerial courage
  • Demonstrated Project/Program Management experience in product and / or technology development working with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong automotive market knowledge – especially in the EV market
  • Battery connectivity knowledge preferred, especially in cell-to cell, module-to module and module to BDU connections
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility
  • Strong analytical skills & business accumen
  • Leadership experience in cross functional / regional teams and in matrix environments
  • Self-direction and motivation
  • Excellent in communication / collaboration & presentation / confidence in communicating to senior management and customers.
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong escalation / conflict management skills
  • Able to drive decisions / results orientated
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
  • Local language is an advantage
