Oversees equipment maintenance and leads maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance in the organization to ensure a longer lifespan of machines and facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Daily Task & Activities
- To reduce equipment failure rates and ensure smooth production, analyze maintenance data weekly and come up with improvement plans; create or revise equipment maintenance management procedures and monitor the implementation of maintenance schedules.
- Handle major equipment failures; improve equipment safety; assist ME with equipment modifications and fixture improvements for new product development.
2. Technician Management and Development
- Able to establish technician on job training and skill matrices, job training, conduct assessments and evaluations, motivate subordinates, and handle employee conflicts and relationships within the team and across departments.
- To effectively get the team's work done, reasonably assign tasks to subordinates
- Conduct assessment mechanisms to strengthen mechanical, electrical, PLC, and safe-working capabilities."
3. EHS
- To ensure the equipment operates safely, participate in or organize risk inspections of the equipment, work with EHS to design and install safety protective devices for equipment operation, and improve the operating environment of the equipment."
4. Project Improvement
- To reduce equipment costs and improve efficiency, we use the TEOA tool to organize and plan equipment improvement projects, and carry out, monitor, and manage the improvement work.
- Able to implement equipment criticality classification, preventive maintenance, inspections, maintenance history, spare-parts control, vendor management and downtime tracker to evaluate performance."
5. Department Policies and Procedures
To ensure that the company's policies and processes are implemented, assist in formulating the company's safety and other related policies and systems; responsible for organizing and implementing various policies, systems, and plans developed by the company and the department.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors or above, major in mechanical, automation control, or Engineering related fields;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining and managing equipment in large factories;
- Solid theoretical knowledge of mechanics or electronics;
- Ability to improve equipment;
- Ability to manage equipment systematically;
- Familiar with commonly used software like Office, AutoCAD, and PLC programming;

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional level experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
