Job Overview
The role is responsible for managing end-to-end time and attendance operations in the plant, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and readiness for payroll processing. The role also drives attendance process improvement and supports system optimization.
Job Requirements
1. Daily Attendance Operations
• Maintain accurate daily attendance records including clock-in/out, shift, leave, and absence
• Perform daily data monitoring to ensure completeness and timely updates in the system
• Track attendance cut-off timelines and ensure data readiness before monthly closing
2. Shift & OT Management
• Maintain and update shift rosters based on production requirements
• Coordinate with production supervisors on shift changes and adjustments
• Track, validate, and reconcile overtime records in alignment with company policy
• Ensure proper capture of overtime and shift changes to avoid payroll discrepancies
3. Attendance Exception Handling
• Identify attendance irregularities such as missing punches, incorrect shifts, and abnormal hours
• Follow up with employees and supervisors for correction and approval
• Ensure all attendance exceptions are resolved prior to payroll cut-off
4. Data Validation & Quality Control
• Conduct weekly/monthly attendance reconciliation to ensure data accuracy
• Cross-check attendance data against leave records, shift plans, and OT submissions
• Support audit checks and ensure traceability of attendance adjustments
• Promote timely attendance verification by employees and departments to reduce errors
5. Employee & Operations Support
• Respond to employee queries related to attendance, leave, and overtime
• Provide guidance on attendance policies and procedures
• Support supervisors in ensuring team attendance compliance
• Generate regular attendance reports for HR and operations review
• Support system data accuracy and continuous improvement initiative
6. Payroll Support
• Provide attendance data for payroll calculation
• Support payroll input collection and checks
7. Process Management
• Establish and ensure standardized attendance processes aligned with company policies and compliance requirements
• Implement structured working routines (daily monitoring, periodic reconciliation, cut-off control) to ensure effective operations
• Drive proactive issue identification and resolution to minimize payroll impact
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive enhancements to improve data quality and operational efficiency
What your background should look like
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
2.Experience
• Min 5 years of experience in time and attendance/payroll operations.
• Experience in large-scale manufacturing or high-volume workforce environment.
3. Skills
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Knowledge of attendance processes (shift/OT/leave).
• Ability to drive process improvement.
• Familiar with HR systems (Workday/SAP/BIPO etc.).
