Job Overview

Summary: 
1.Design and supervise the execution of standard of procedure, analyze and identify raw material issues, control the in-process quality activities, develop quality engineering documents, develop and track assigned process quality improvement plans and handle customer complaints.
2.Lead overall scrap control and improvement for the responsible project/product.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Policies And Procedures, Quality System
 - Implement quality policies, procedures and  systems, maintain/update quality engineering work instruction in order to ensure the business procedures in line with QS and global standards.

 - Involve in customer audit, implement responsible procedures and facilitate other departments to close their actions on time and fulfill requirement to our products and process in order to meet customer requirement and our quality system    

2. People Management and Development - In order to achieve targeted team performance and retain talent.
 - Allocate and balance the allocation of work across direct reports 
 - Review and provide timely performance feedback to direct reports 
 - Mentor, develop and motivate them
 - Help resolve people/functional issues in the team
 - Train and coach new PQE

3. Quality Engineering
 - Coordinate customers complaints handling process
 - Review/approve customer complaints corrective and preventive action plan - in order to ensure the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive action plan.
 - Review product quality performance, and develop process quality improvement plan and monitor the implementation
 - Handle critial quality issues in production-  In order to improve product quality performance and meet ECE.

4. External Audit
 - Involve in external audit in order to ensure audit process smoothly.    

5. Scrap Control And Improvement
 - Allocate resource to address top scrap project/issue 
 - Monitor top WIP scrap by value stream and drive team to take proper improvement action
 - Monitor overall sorting/reworking data and drive team to take proper action to improve  
 - Monitor major scrap case and lead team to get lesson learnt - in order to maintain product quality performance

Job Requirements

  • Ensuring the execution of owned projects including the creation project deliverables; approving non-conformances and CAPA.
  • Tracking and ensuring KPIs are met to achieve expected results.
  • Leading, mentoring and developing smaller teams to promote quality awareness and implement quality programs and initiatives.
  • Managing and cascading staffing development and performance management programs for you and all quality staff; maintaining constructive relationships with all departments and external stakeholders; handling escalations at the Supervisor level and continuing escalation process if needed.

What your background should look like

1. Bachelor Degree in engineering
2. 7+ years electronics industry quality related working experience, including 2 years managerial/lead experience
3. Green belt/Black belt/PMP certification is preferred
