Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Quality and Reliability Engineering Teams analyze the ability of product and production systems to comply with customer and contractual requirements through established reliability factors. They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Out teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
**Testing Equipment/Measuring Tool Calibration, Management, and Maintenance**

1. To ensure the effectiveness and quality of testing equipment and measuring tools, participate in the calibration of testing devices and manage all testing equipment in the factory according to the testing equipment/measuring tool management standards.
2. Monitor the operational status of experimental equipment.
3. Develop calibration plans that translate national and customer calibration requirements into internal calibration guidelines and work instructions.
4. Assign identification numbers to all inspection equipment in the company.
5. Regularly calibrate equipment; contact external calibration agencies to assess their capabilities and perform external calibration on equipment that exceeds internal calibration capabilities to ensure accuracy.

**Cross-Section Sample Preparation / High-Frequency Testing Fixture Maintenance and Test Anomaly Analysis**
1. To ensure the accuracy of test results, assist testing engineers in analyzing and addressing anomalies in production and laboratory tests.
2. To assist ME/QC in confirming the terminal riveting process during production, prepare cross-section samples of terminals when testing technicians/engineers are off duty.
3. To ensure the accuracy of high-frequency testing, manage the preparation, maintenance, and management of high-frequency testing fixtures.

**Testing Equipment Safety Confirmation**
To ensure the safety of the testing equipment on-site, implement safety inspections and confirmations of the testing equipment in the field.


**Production and Maintenance of High-Frequency Testing Fixtures**
Assign identification numbers for all high-frequency testing fixtures on the production line for management and monitor their usage frequency. This includes the production and maintenance of all high-frequency testing fixtures on the production line, as well as the welding and fabrication of high-frequency fixtures for NPI products.
    
Requirements:

  • High school/vocational school or above
  • Over 1 year of testing experience in the electronics industry        
  • Good communication skills, sense of responsibility, analytical abilities
