Automation Engineer specializes in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Data Science, with responsibilities of designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing automation solutions that integrate shop-floor systems with enterprise platforms. This role bridges automation, MES, and advanced data analytics to improve productivity, quality, traceability, and decision-making across manufacturing operations. The role works closely with operations, process engineering, IT/OT, and data teams to enable Industry 4.0 initiatives and data-driven manufacturing excellence

Job Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain MES solutions (e.g., recipe management, production tracking, WIP, traceability, SPC).
• Integrate MES with machine control systems and internal enterprise systems
• Perform equipment system validation during FAT/SAT and deployment in manufacturing environments.
• Develop dashboards, reports and real-time monitoring tools for operations and management.
• Analyzing statistics related to production efficiency, safety measures, and resource usage, research on effective ways of research with regards to cost saving.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or above degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Data Science.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Automation specializes in data science and MES.
• Experience in PLC-based automation systems, MES systems and analyzing manufacturing data for yield improvement; process stability and OEE improvement.
• Familiar with data query, dashboard and relevant data analytics tools
