AOI responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing automated optical inspection systems, ensuring robust image processing, lighting configuration, and integration with production lines.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure AOI hardware systems including cameras, sensors, lighting, and optics.
- Develop and optimize image processing algorithms for defect detection, OCR/OCV, and dimensional measurements.
- Program and maintain Keyence and Cognex vision systems, including AI-based tools.
- Integrate AOI systems with PLCs and MES for real-time data exchange.
- Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and remote support for AOI systems.
- Lead training programs for operators, technicians, and engineers on AOI systems.

Preferred Skills and Abilities
- Expertise in high-resolution cameras and advanced lighting techniques.
- Proficiency in Keyence VS/IV series and Cognex In-Sight/VisionPro systems.
- Knowledge of AI/ML for vision applications and dataset management.
- Programming skills in Python (OpenCV, TensorFlow), C#, and SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to create documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Long Description
Requirements:
- - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).
- - Advanced knowledge in Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, including hardware, software, and AI/ML integration.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in AOI systems design, implementation, and optimization.
- - Proven expertise in Keyence and Cognex vision systems, including programming and troubleshooting.
- - Strong background in industrial automation and PLC integration.
- - Experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
