Job Overview

Ensure the effectiveness and quality of test equipment by maintaining, calibrating, and managing test equipment/fixtures in alignment with TE Penang's standards. Assist in test anomaly analysis and ensure compliance with calibration requirements. 

Job Requirements

• Testing Equipment & Tool Management (30%) 
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment and tools to meet standards. 
  • Assign identification numbers to all inspection equipment and ensure external 
  calibration when required. 
  • Develop calibration plans and monitor equipment operational status. 
  
  Cross-Section Sample Preparation & Test Analysis (35%) 
  • Analyze test anomalies with engineers and ensure accuracy in test results. 
  • Prepare cross-section samples for terminal riveting processes and manage high
  frequency testing fixtures. 
  
  Testing Equipment Safety (5%) 
  • Conduct on-site safety inspections and confirmations of testing equipment. 
  
  High-Frequency Fixture Maintenance (30%)
• Manage, produce, and maintain high-frequency testing fixtures for production and 
  new product introductions (NPI). 
• Identify product testing failures, process-related issue including fixture improvement
• Troubleshooting test equipment and test fixture to determine the root cause
• Work with engineers to monitor test results and analyze the failure mode (channel)
• Equipment maintenance and repair
• Support spare parts usage readiness/record

What your background should look like

Qualifications: 
• Education: High school Diploma in electrical or vocational qualification. 
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in electronics industry testing. 
• Skills: Strong communication, analytical abilities, and a sense of responsibility.

• Internal: TC Supervisor, Quality Engineers, Project Engineers, Production Leaders. 
• External: Suppliers.
