Job Overview

Contributes to the development of organizational strategy, and supports the implementation of operational plans in manufacturing engineering function.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of manufacturing engineers to meet business and operational goals.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

• Oversee the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.

• Ensure manufacturing engineering activities comply with TE standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.

• Manage new product introductions (NPI) into production, ensuring smooth transitions from design to manufacturing.

• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to solve complex technical issues.

• Develop and manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and project timelines.

• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other advanced manufacturing methodologies to optimize operations.

• Ensure a culture of safety, innovation, and teamwork across the engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Proven track record of leading teams and delivering process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Experience with manufacturing automation, tooling, and process validation.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.
